Access the Settings of your Inverter
Pressing on a line in the main screen gives more information about the Inverter settings related to that topic. This article covers two of most useful ones; battery settings, and grid controls.
Warning: Inverter settings are not well documented, and may not function as you expect. The same settings may operate differently on different models of Inverter and different levels of Inverter Firmware. They may not operate accurately.

Accessing Battery Settings
In this example, if you press the battery line, as shown in the image, the battery settings are displayed.

Most of these settings you can change yourself in a variety of ways, including:
-
The GE app
-
The GE cloud portal
-
GivTCP and Home Assistant
-
Portal automations
-
Octopus R&D Labs
-
Octopus Intelligent tariffs
It can become confusing if you have changed settings from more than one source. This screen is a handy check to see how they are currently set.

Calibration can be started either by your installer or GivEnergy support staff. The battery voltage limits I think are built into the firmware and cannot be changed. The battery capacity should have been set by your installer when your system was commissioned.

Accessing the Grid Controls
In this example, if you press the grid line, as shown in the image, the grid controls are displayed.

These controls are for information only, and can only be changed by GivEnergy support staff.
If you are experiencing grid related problems, such as the Inverter not outputting power at certain times of the day, check your settings against the example here. If they are different, call GivEnergy support to ask if they can be adjusted.
