Inverter Monitor

Configure the app to work the way you want
Access Settings for the app using the gear icon.
Which settings are important?
Each setting has it's own help information, accessed by pressing the question mark icon.

For use as a simple monitor, once the IP address is set correctly, all the other settings can be left alone. For those with advanced networks, the IP Address is an alphanumeric field, so you can enter a hostname from your DNS server.

To make best use of the battery bar on the main screen, you should set the battery capacity, and if you have a dual rate electricity tariff, set the target time to the start of your cheap(er) rate.

Battery capacity is only used to estimate when the battery might become full or empty. If you have multiple batteries, you should add up their total capacity. If you find that your system doesn't give the full rated capacity, feel free to use your own calculation.

Down near the bottom of the settings is a very powerful option called "Collect Stats". When this is enabled, the android device essentially becomes a server, logging data from the inverter every minute and every day. The "Collect Stats" option enables a new menu bar on the main screen, which contains icons to access tables and graphs of historic data. These can be used as an alternative to the portal graphs.
